Mail Bombs...

My artist friends have good habits. Every once in a while, they throw something in the mail to me just for fun and it is always great stuff.

One of those friends, Gail Pine, who collects "found photos" with another friend of mine, Jackie Woods, and she knows that I have an addiction to car related art. Sometimes her mail bombs are cool old photos of cars that she's come across. Here's a couple for you to see, the B/W image is an original Minox print made with a Minox camera...

It's here again!...

If you happen to be reading this and you are in Santa Barbara, do not miss this event. It is sure to please...

Shelley's 41 Plymouth in Rod & Kulture...

Here's a peek at my latest published work. I didn't shoot the cover, I did both of the two-page spreads. It is a car which was worked on by my friend, Ricky Rojas, for his friend, Shelley Barnes.

I'd say the reproduction qualities over at Rod & Kulture are top notch. I'm happy to be published in a magazine who cares about, and uses nice photography...

Antiques Road Show...

I was recently on a trip to the Mid-West where I traveled the 94 from Minneapolis, MN to Milwaukee, WI. While in route, my wife was driving pretty slow and we got passed by this truck load of treasures...I was having a hard time deciding what I like best, Ford or Chevy?

My buddy Ricky also called me a couple of days ago to let me know that the photos I took of a 1941 Plymouth he helped restore were finally published in Rod & Kulture Magazine. Stay tuned for my next post in regards to that.
